Things to do/ not to do before your session
Drink plenty of water and moisturize your skin! Hydrated skin photographs beautifully. Dry, flaky skin does not and can be difficult to retouch.
DO NOT spray tan or tan in a tanning bed. Limit outdoor sun exposure. Tan skin photographs orange, and spray tans will damage clothing and bedding. DO NOT DO IT! We cannot Photoshop tan lines, or orange skin.
Get a manicure/pedicure. Nails cannot be retouched.
Do not deep condition your hair the day of or the day before your session. Your hair styling will not hold. Wash your hair the day before. If you have curly hair and plan to leave it curly you may use your own products prior to the session. If you would like it straight, please straighten it to the best of your ability.
Wear loose fitting clothing to your session. This will minimize lines from tight jeans, socks, etc.
Be sure to get plenty of rest, avoid alcohol the night before your session, and eat before you arrive! You'll want to be energized and awake!
